Latina American Idol judge Jennifer Lopez to hang out with the Obama family for the Super Bowl?

The Super Bowl is here! It is finally Super Bowl Sunday — and American tradition that is almost like a religious holiday in some states. This year, the Green Bay Packers will take on the Pittsburgh Steelers for the 2011 Super Bowl on Sunday February 6 at 6PM in a much-anticipated and greatly hyped good old American football game! Americans will be glued to their televisions, checking out the game, taking in the commercials, and hanging out with President Obama? Green celebrity, Jennifer Lopez, Latin singer and actress, currently on the judge panel for reality television show American Idol, has confirmed that she and her husband, Latin singer Marc Anthony, were officially invited to spend watch the Super Bowl game at the White House!
As part of the judge team with Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson, Jennifer Lopez is quite the busy mom these days. Hanging out with President Barack Obama, his wife Michelle Obama, and the celebrity couple’s daughters and cute pet pup at the White House in Washington, DC for a Super Bowl Party should prove to be quite a day.
Jennifer Lopez herself seemed surprised by the invitation to a Super Bowl Party at the famous estate. Her reactions to the invitation to chill with the president for the game day event was shared in an interview with Extra, when J-Lo exclaimed:
I can’t believe it!” She added, “No, we’re not crashing… I don’t even feel like it’s real!”
The Lopez Anthony couple seem to be avid followers of the NFL, since her husband Marc Anthony owns stakes in the Miami Dolphins. Apparently the Lopez-Anthony family partakes in the American pastime of catching a football game as a family!
Of course if you’re invited to a party, you can’t show up empty-handed, right? What will Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony bring to the party?
Jennifer candidly replied:
“Nothing… I think they’re stocked up!”

It’s refreshing to see the Obama’s reach out to a variety of people from a wide range of ethnic backgrounds to join their social circle — even if they are all Hollywood celebrities. It will be interesting to see how the Super Bowl Party date plays out for Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony – a celebrity couple who admit to marital difficulties but who say they are committed to staying married for their children’s sake. The White House will be energized as everyone predicts who will win the big game! We wonder if the president will be wearing Gold and Black or Green and Yellow? Hopefully, J-lo will snap a pic or two and tweet the answer for us in a pic of the day.
