Today, Jesse Eisenberg hits the SAG Awards 2011 red carpet in Los Angeles after a quick trip from New York where he was host of SNL when the show went live last night.
It was almost as if this actor was in two places at once. Well, he sort of was.
But we digress.
Ahem. This is quite the Jesse Eisenberg weekend as this young artist experiences two big firsts in this 27-year-old New Yorker’s relatively short professional life which began in earnest in 2002 according to TV Guide Channel.
One first for Eisenberg is for his nomination at this top award show where actors honor actors. Another one is for his inaugural visit with the folks at Saturday Night Live where his alter ego, Mark Zuckerberg, showed up at 30 Rock, too — which makes a third first for Jesse since the two never met prior to this small screen gathering.
So, as Jesse Eisenberg hits the SAG Awards 2011 red carpet, one can only hope this thespian wins something, either on a personal level or as part of an ensemble in The Social Network, one of the most talk about films of this year’s award show season.
